Eternal Beauty

Not the beauty that is a half-dream
And that lies afar
But that which is the best
Of all that is known
Which does not fade like a flower
Nor a setting star
But is all that is
And enough in  itself
Between star-dust and sea-foam
As one becomes the other
The purest nectar of the spirit
The eye of immortal truth
Unblemished by judgement
That rests in the stillness of fulfilled Being
Awareness that sees the perfection of the universe
Knowing its fragrance in quiet ecstasy
