The Majesty of Awe

In the Awareness known only to Itself
And belonging to nothing
Without name
Or form
The eye is rescued from nonexistence
Called to this life
To awaken within
To dwell in contentment
And Self-realization
The clear space
Of seeing
Of unchanging Awareness
That sees the eternal dance of life
As everything comes
And goes In rhythm
Eternity’s ecstatic and perfect hymn
In all hearts that find
The Eternal Being
That is but One’s Self
The One Light that is the majesty of Awe

The Lost Child

Where is the child
that passed through the gate
beyond the tall grasses
that bordered the path
where once the sunrises
painted the world
and a day was forever
in boundless fields
of immortal whispers
that filled the heart
as green leaves turned
on butterfly songs
and eyes of wonderment
knew no end
nor thought of heaven
as something more
yet those summers to vanish
as if but a dream
and the child now gone
where the footprints paused
looking behind for the way back home
but finding the path no longer there

Elysium Dreams

Tinkling
spires of translucent crystal
like white-thistle stars
hanging by a
spider’s silk
in the hues
of blue rainbows
like a halcyon
messenger
for Elysium dreams
an idyllic world
in another
inner dimension
an art work
but a loving river
of rhapsody
twisting and turning
a fragrant wind
of haunting beauty
ethereal chimes
echoing lustrous magic
yet anonymous in a leafless sky

The Eternal Now

Now, beyond belief
There is no I,
The shadow that I was falls away
To exist beyond mind
Immersed In  boundless love
And the oceanic Awareness
Of the Eternal Now
Without want of the world
Separate from nothing
In the still peace of the One Light
And the ecstasy
Of the mind released from thought
The heart to suffer no more
In the peace of the luminous One Presence
The Light of Eternal Awareness

Choiceless Awareness

The lover has become one with the Beloved
With unconditional acceptance
Of That Which Is
Choice-less awareness seeing life is perfect.
Whatever happens
Is done by the Absolute
And cannot happen in any other way
Choice is as much an illusion as man.
There is no one to choose
Nothing more need be done.
The idea of choice implies an individual
Who is separate from life
Who thinks he creates his own life
But there is no doer
Everything arises spontaneously,
And freely of its own accord
And all thoughts are pointless, mental noise
There is only unconditional acceptance
The perfection which is the love and heaven of this eternal moment
For he who gives his life for the Absolute will find it

The Only Possibility

There is always
but one possibility in every moment:
~ Perfection
for all is the Absolute
and no one exists
to make a choice
though it may seem otherwise,
everything is
and has been
exactly as it was meant to be,
as surely as a stream
flowing to the ocean,
where the barrier of stones
are but lessons,
bringing  one ever closer
to the true Self,
where one finds
~ there never was any sin,
for no one exists
to create a sin
nor a need of forgiveness,
only the illusion of errors
so that  life eventually
knows Itself again,
in some moment of silence
where the mind becomes still
of the world,
beyond the veil of mistaken identity,
that long forgetting,
to the supreme awakening ~
that one is: All That Is,
all things as they are
and were meant to be,
past the shadows of impermanence,
to forever know the peace of immortal bliss,
and that the secret of the universe
is within.

Ecstatic Stillness

The dried petals of the violets lie
Upon the floor
Now chiseled and curled
Laconically adorned
And I the priest
Who has come to worship
This conjunction come
In sacred silence
As my vision stares
And all turns soft and blurs away
In slow immediacy
I cannot help
But touch my thoughts
As the petals crack
And break so frail like some beauty slain
That stains the moist floor
Of my inner being
Like a chrysalis waiting that unknown gift
Rather ecstasy in the loss of self
